We wanted to write a blog about alternatives to the traditional party bag. More and more we hear parents wish they didn’t have to do the traditional plastic bags filled with random pieces that tend to go to waste so we got our heads together to help provide some great alternatives! If you have an additions to add please feel free to leave a comment below or contact us to add more!

- Seeds and Plants
From providing the seeds to a small plant this is a great alternative to a party bag. A great activity and long lasting gift for your guests that come at little cost. You can even make it an activity with your little one by purchasing a large bag and funnelling them into smaller bags and even decorating them ready for a party. - Books – Colouring Books and Story Books
Books are always a great and popular choice for a party favour and they can be purchased in bulk like the ones listed here. - Sweet Cones
Sweets are always popular as a favour at the end of a party. The only downside would be dietary requirements and making sure all of the sweets were suitable for everyone receiving a favour. - Personalised Drinks Cups
These can be found extremely affordable in most budget shops but we’ve found a handy link here. These can be personalised by you or your little one and even filled with goodies too! - Craft Kits
Simply buy a craft bundle and as an activity with your little one separate them into bundles for your guests to take away. You could even add clay for something a little different. - Friendship Bracelets
This works well for smaller parties. Again another great activity to do with your little one before the party and really adds a personalised touch. - Paint Your Own Plaster Kits
A great treat that can come already pre-packed as found here. - Adopt a Teddy Bear
Buying a bulk amount of teddy bear key rings or teddy bears and printing an ‘adoption certificate’. - Pamper Kits
A small bag (See below) featuring a number of pamper items. This can include; flip flops, nail files, hair bobbles, headbands and more to help create that pamper spa feeling!
