Here’s what to expect in the run up to your party and as an added extra, a few handy tips after this also.
Confirmation Email
Within a week of paying a secure payment you will receive a confirmation email. If you haven’t seen this, please first check your junk folder before contacting us as 99% of the time it usually is there. Emails can be very cheeky!
It’s at this stage we ask you to check all of the details of your booking and inform us of any mistakes or changes that need to be made.
Contact Up To Your Booking
Of course if you have any questions up to your booking, please don’t hesitate to ask. We’d always advise online, as there is more people manning our online services. We’ll always aim on getting back in touch within 48 hours.

Courtesy call
Around the week before your booking and within that week, one of our team will contact you to go through the final details of your booking and give you guidance on your day. It’s at this stage if any outstanding balance is due we will kindly ask how you’d like to pay this. Payment is expected a week before your booking. You are welcome to contact us before this to pay in instalments or early.
Payment is not accepted on the day and cash is also not accepted.
On the day preparations.
Our character team will contact you when they reach your party location. (Please note: this will show as an unknown number). Other team won’t typically call you unless there is any issues with timings.
DJ Party Host
A small or large table is helpful to prepare on the day for where you would like the DJ to be.In most instances the DJ party host will prefer to be on the stage, however there are occasions the party host will suggest the dance floor. Please note 2 working plug sockets are required near to where you would like the DJ to set up.
Face Painting and Other Cosmetic Services
A table and 2 chairs where you would like the face painter to set up would be great. Please note the painter cannot set up in front of a fire exit (the most common place picked on preparation of our arrival haha!)
If you service isn’t listed it may be that they don’t require anything preparing. If you’d like to check this, do feel free to ask us on your courtesy call.

General Tips
Here are some general tips for your day below.
General – Before The Day – Preparations
- – Contact each of the businesses you have booked for your occasion. Confirm all the final party details together and be aware of any requests that they may have, such as a table setup for our DJs and Face Painters Our call team will always offer you a courtesy call in the week before your booking date to go through these details with you.
- – Gather the contact details for the above together on a list.
- – Assemble the party bags and favours.
- – Collect your decorations and extras ready for the day of the party.
- – If you are arriving at the venue early to set up any decorations, arrange transport of the guest of honour to the party venue.
Essential items to help on the day:
- Sellotape
- Blu-Tack/sticky tack
- Scissors
- Candles for the cake
- A lighter
- Bin bags
- Baby wipes
General – On The Day
- – Don’t forget to set a gift table! Guests may come with a gift, so it’s ideal to have a designated space to keep them all together.
- – Remember to bring the essentials list above.
- – Make sure you have your cake (yes, forgetting the cake has happened!)
- – For health and safety, please ensure that all fire exits of the venue/party location are clear.
- – Never set up any displays or tables in front of fire exits for guests safety.
- – Try to assign one person in your family or friends to take photos – sometimes you can be so busy prepping and presenting that this is forgotten.
